Freediver Course (Call to Book)

Service Description

The Freediver Course is designed for any person interested in freediving (breath-hold diving), regardless of their aquatic experience. By completion of this course you will gain the necessary knowledge and experience to freedive to depths of up to 20 meters in a safe and comfortable manner. Our unique educative method incorporates all the basics of freediving in a supportive, non-competitive environment to ensure a successful and fun experience. This course consists of two academic sessions and three aquatic sessions held at 2 different cenotes. In the classroom the instructor interacts with students using demonstrations, videos, different breathing exercises and one-on-one feedback. The course is designed to help future freedivers improve their confidence, knowledge and techniques prior to the water sessions. During our water sessions the instructor will accompany students at all times while underwater regardless of depth. This allows for greater personalized attention and feedback while simultaneously building student confidence and maintaining safety. Upon completion of the Freediver Course, students receive a certification as well as private online access to the Freediver Course materials so that they can maintain their freediving knowledge. This course can be run in two days (9-5pm) or three days (9-2/3pm) depending on student schedule. Course Includes: Instruction, all equipment, cenotes fees, snacks, water, round trip transportation from Acuatic to sites and certification from Apnea Total.

Cancellation Policy

All our prices include taxes and are in US dollars. Booking deposits are non-refundable. Reschedules are possible with at least 24hs notice.
